Troubleshooting

Check common setup and review problems.

The widget does not appear

Check that the script tag or init() runs once, that the project key is correct, and that the website address is listed in Project → Setup, step 1. On live sites the widget is hidden from visitors: open a client link or press Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + K. Also check that “Pause feedback everywhere” is off in Project → Settings, under Feedback widget. The browser console names the problem, with a link to error codes.

The sign-in code has not arrived

Check the email address and spam folder. Use resend when it becomes available and enter the newest code. If it still fails, contact support with the approximate time. Do not share the code.

Feedback is missing on localhost

Check the project key, that you are signed in, and the page path and query string. Open the inbox and choose All pages, or look in the dashboard with the branch filter cleared.

If the feedback appears but its pin does not, the element may have changed between versions.

A screenshot or source file is missing

Images from other websites and embedded frames can be left out of screenshots. Source file locations are only available when your build provides them, so they will not appear for every element or production build.

A review is read-only

Check your role, project access and plan. When a paid plan expires, members can still view and export feedback; adding or changing it needs an active plan.

Still stuck?

Email [email protected] with the project name, browser, framework, steps to reproduce and the exact error. Remove tokens, sign-in codes and private customer information first.
