The agreement
These terms govern your use of CommentKit, provided by buildnboost Ventures Private Limited, registered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to bind it. You must have the legal capacity to enter this agreement.
The service includes the hosted workspace, website feedback tools and SDK. The privacy notice explains our handling of personal information. Any separately agreed written terms apply to the extent they expressly replace these terms.
Accounts and access
Provide accurate account information and protect your email account, sign-in codes, project keys and session tokens. You are responsible for the people you invite, the permissions you grant and the sites where you install CommentKit. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Install CommentKit only on websites you own or are authorized to manage. You are responsible for providing notices and obtaining permissions required for feedback, screenshots and personal information collected on those websites.
Plans and payments
A project slot covers a project in your workspace. Pro is currently $9.00 per project slot per month. Lifetime is a one-time $99.00 purchase with 15 project slots; additional Lifetime slots are $10.00 each as a one-time purchase. Check the pricing page and checkout for the plan, limits, currency and taxes that apply to your purchase.
Dodo Payments provides hosted checkout and the billing portal. Its applicable checkout terms also govern the payment transaction. Entitlements are activated after payment confirmation. Recurring subscriptions renew until canceled through the billing portal or with support.
Pro slot increases can take effect immediately with prorated billing; decreases apply at the next billing date. Deleting a project holds its Pro slot until the current billing period ends, or its Lifetime slot for 30 days. Deletion is not a subscription cancellation.
Cancellation and refunds
Manage your subscription through Billing in your workspace. A cancellation scheduled for period end leaves access in place until that period ends. Keep a copy of any information you need before closing your account.
For a refund or disputed charge, contact [email protected] with the purchase reference and reason. We consider the purchase terms, payment-provider rules and applicable law. These terms do not remove any cancellation, refund or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Your content
You retain your rights in the content you submit. You give us permission to host, store, display, transmit and process it as needed to provide the service, follow your workspace instructions and meet applicable obligations.
You must have the necessary rights and permissions for that content. Do not upload material that infringes another person’s rights, contains unlawful personal information, or exposes credentials or secrets. Your workspace members and invited team members may see and act on shared content.
Use the service responsibly
Do not use CommentKit to:
- Break the law, threaten or harass people, or distribute harmful or infringing content.
- Access another person’s account, project or data without permission.
- Bypass access controls, payment requirements, rate limits or plan limits.
- Distribute malware, interfere with the service, or perform disruptive testing without authorization.
- Misrepresent your identity or collect information from a website without authority.
We may restrict access or remove content to address these violations, nonpayment, security risks or legal requirements. Contact support if you believe an action was taken in error.
Software and integrations
CommentKit’s software, branding and service remain the property of their respective rights holders. The SDK is proprietary software licensed for use with CommentKit’s hosted service. Its package license applies; no ownership in the SDK is transferred to you.
Integrations, browsers and third-party tools have their own terms. A copied agent export does not authorize an agent to make changes for you. Review generated code and verify your application before accepting a change or resolving feedback.
Availability and changes
We may maintain, update or change the service. Features can depend on browser capabilities, the host website and external providers. Unless agreed separately, these terms do not promise uninterrupted availability, a particular response time, or compatibility with every website.
Keep independent copies of information important to your business. Deleting an account or project can remove your normal access before all related records are erased. The privacy notice explains retention and deletion requests.
Responsibility and rights
The service is provided as available, subject to the commitments in these terms and rights required by law. You are responsible for your installation, content, permissions and decisions made using feedback or agent exports. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or a warranty that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
Law and contact
Indian law governs these terms, except where mandatory law provides otherwise. Subject to those mandatory rights, courts with jurisdiction in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India will hear disputes arising from this agreement. Contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to resolve the issue.
