Reviewer access

Understand invitations, sign-in and permissions.

Verified people, private feedback

Feedback is private to your project. Everyone confirms their email address with a one-time code before they can see or leave comments. The project key in your website code is not a password and cannot unlock feedback.

Choose the right access

Use a project reviewer invitation for someone reviewing one project. Project reviewers can take part in that project’s feedback without access to other projects, workspace administration or billing. Workspace members keep the permissions of their workspace role.

Send invitations to the email address the person will use to sign in. If an invitation expires or is revoked, send a new one.

Signing in on the website

  1. Open the client link or the website where CommentKit is installed. If the widget is hidden, press Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + K.
  2. Start a comment. A small CommentKit window opens (in apps like WhatsApp or Instagram, it opens in the same tab).
  3. Enter your name and email, then the newest 6-digit code from your inbox.
  4. Team accounts with two-factor authentication complete that step too.

Anything you typed before signing in is kept. Never send verification codes, recovery codes or access tokens to another person.
